5 Step Program Overcoming bath Aversion Syndrome

What is "Bath Aversion Syndrome"? Well, in this instance, it pertains to pets, who sometimes can't help themselves from getting dirty or muddy, especially after a good rain shower outdoors, are those creatures that cry, whine, squawk, yelp and make complete nuisances of themselves when the mention of a bath is ever uttered.

OK. What should you be looking for when it comes to Bath Aversion Syndrome?

The five stages are as follow:

• As the tub starts filling - Denial (which often times can turn to trauma)
• You're in it, but NOT happy - Anger (lashing out can occur at this stage)
  
• Eventually resignation occurs - Bargaining (pleas of desperation are typical)
• Next grief gives way to - Depression (they struggle with emptiness and the injustice of it all)
• Finally comes joy - Acceptance (as if taking a bath was what they wanted from the get-go)
