Adams Handmade Soap - About Us
Our history is a humble one. Adams Handmade Soap was created by Anthony Adams and his wife Maranatha. It started when Anthony was trying to develop a new business venture in his spare time and realized the opportunity to make and sell soap. Starting in his kitchen, he and his wife worked hard together, converting their home into a small production facility. It didn't take long before businesses began asking him to make soap for them so they could resell the product. Anthony took his past business and production experience to fill this demand. After looking at what others were offering (and not offering) he developed and implemented his plan.
As time went on, Adams Handmade Soap continued to grow, Anthony, Maranatha (and now their two sons) had to move to a larger place. Still on a tight budget, they continued to make product on their private properties. They moved several times, before "landing" in a small rural town of Angier, NC where they obtained a large building and house. From their, the expansion continued and they purchased a building on a separate location for shipping the product. Realizing that property costs continued to rise and the need for immediate space, they moved (with welcome arms) to Dunn, NC where they are located today in their 45,000 square foot campus. With approximately 50 employees today, Adams Handmade Soap continues to expand, with product offerings to small and large businesses.
Anthony lives with his wife and five children in Fuquay Varina, NC. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, real estate and crypto currency investment, and watching highlights of his favorite sports teams losing. He also enjoys inspiring individuals to become successful wherever they are.
Although still the majority owner, Anthony Adams acknowledges that the most important part of a business isn't the owner, but the team of capable individuals. Over the past 15 years we've been blessed with many talented individuals who have helped mold Adams Handmade Soap into the company it is today.
